Sunday was my second trip to Snetterton and my first in the Caterham. The original plan had been to visit Snetterton in a brand new 7 last autumn, but the powers that are MSV informed my TDO that his booking had been changed to an earlier date, way sooner than the 7 stood any chance of being ready for. So last year's trip to Snetterton was in the 911, which at least taught me which way the circuit went.
Before I set off, there was a job to do. I've realised that the fixed Tillet seat that comes as standard is not right for me. My trip out at minus three (see earlier posts) was done with my new crash helmet on, for warmth, and that short journey was enough to tell me that my position in the car was all wrong.
